If you haven’t checked out Story Board on the Geek & Sundry Youtube channel, do so. Especially if you are a writer. The latest episode is great! Pat Rothfuss, author of the “Kingkiller Chronicle,” leads the discussion with Mary Robinette Kowal, author of “Shades of Milk and Honey,” about “Begin at the Beginning.” In this episode, they field questions from viewers on everything from how to start your writing to whether you develop your character first or world first. It is full of great info from two great authors. Go forth, learn, then go write something… anything! Just write!
